About Kenny:

If you ask around his home city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, “Who is Kenny Nguyen?” you’ll likely get a few different answers.

Kenny serves as Executive Vice President of Operations at Nguyen America, a family-led real estate development and acquisition firm focused on retail strip centers and residential land development. In this role, he leads the integration of AI to help the firm operate with greater clarity, speed, and discipline. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of ThreeSixtyEight, a marketing and web agency he now supports as Chairman of the Board.

Earlier in his career, Kenny was also the Co-Founder and CEO of Big Fish Presentations, a firm on a mission to rid the world of boring presentations. He later co-authored The Big Fish Experience: Create Memorable Presentations That Reel In Your Audience, a book published in multiple languages that helps leaders communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact.

Outside of his professional work, Kenny is the co-founder of Assembly Required, a nonprofit that brings together diverse communities to spark meaningful conversations and civic transformation in Baton Rouge. He is also a longtime advocate for STARS (Skilled Through Alternative Routes), having served on the advisory council of Opportunity@Work to champion workers overlooked because they lack a four-year degree.

Beyond his local board work, he hosts Family Dinners, a Jeffersonian-style dinner series where strangers gather around the table to explore ideas and form relationships that deepen their connection to the Baton Rouge community. He is also the host of his wife Laura’s Tablestory Dinners and Night Market BTR community event series, helping to shine a light on underrepresented chefs in Baton Rouge while connecting guests in communal-style dining.

At his core, he and his wife are driven by a love for Baton Rouge, a belief in inclusive economic growth, and a desire to help people feel seen so that they can awaken their potential.
